Auto-Receptionist feature on the BT Cloud Work Portal enables calls to be answered automatically with a professional or a custom recording. Only the Super Admin, Phone System Admin, and Custom Roles with permission to access and edit the Auto-Receptionist settings. To view or change the BT Cloud Phone Auto-Receptionist settings, the Administrator should log in to the BT Cloud Work portal and go to Admin portalPhone system > Auto-Receptionist > General settings. See Log in to the BT Cloud Phone Using Email or Phone Number for more information.

The following settings can be configured:

Types of IVR

Company hours 

This section allows you to customise your company business hours. By default, your Company Hours are set to 24 hours. See Setting Up Company Call Handling and Operator Extension | BT Cloud Work for more information.
 

IVR Settings

This section allows you to choose the action when your company receives incoming calls. It allows you to set the Call Handling settings, Company Greetings and Operator Extension

Dial-by-Name directory

Lets your callers find the extension they want by entering a first or last name using their dial pad keys. This feature is disabled by default. See Set up your BT Cloud Phone Dial-by-Name Directory for more information.
 

Call recording

This section allows you to configure the On-Demand and Automatic Call Recording settings on your BT Cloud Phone Account. See Download or Listen to On-Demand Call Recordings on the BT Cloud Phone Portal for more information:
 

Regional settings

This section allows you to configure your regional date and time settings. The time format option can be set to 12-hour or 24-hour format. You can also configure the Home Country code in this feature.
