The Screening, Greeting & Hold Music section on your BT Cloud Phone Portal allows Users to activate and personalise, or deactivate greetings, screening, and hold music settings. You can also customise your music and prompts to suit your company's theme.
The following options can be configured on the Screening, Greeting & Hold Music section under User Hours settings:
User Greeting
Call screening
Connecting message
Audio while connecting
Hold music
User Greeting
The User Greeting is what your callers will hear when they call your extension. Enable this option when you want the system to answer the call with a recorded welcome message so callers know they've reached the right person. This is not a personal voicemail announcement.

Call screening
Enable this option when you want callers to announce their name before the call is connected. It lets you identify the caller so you can pick up the call immediately or send them to voicemail.

Connecting message
Turn this on if you want callers to hear a message to let them know the call is being transferred to you. You can set the recorded message to either Default or Custom.

Audio while connecting
Set the music you'd like callers to hear while waiting to be connected. You can select from the list or upload your own recording.

Hold music
Turn this option on when you want callers to hear music if the call is put on hold. You can select music from the list or upload your own recording.
