How to install the BT Cloud Phone Desktop App on Windows

The BT Cloud Phone Desktop App is a free downloadable software application, which can be used to make and receive calls, send faxes, and retrieve voice and fax messages. The BT Cloud Phone Desktop App is compatible with Microsoft Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10; and Mac OS X 10.8 & above. The app can be downloaded on multiple computers for free.


Minimum System Requirements

In order for the BT Cloud Phone Desktop App to work properly, your computer has to meet at least the Minimum Requirements.

Windows
Mac

Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10

Mac OS X 10.8 & above

1 GHz (32-bit) or 2 GHz (64-bit) processor

Intel processor

Minimum of 512 MB of memory

200 MB of hard drive space

100 MB of hard drive space



Step 1:

Log in to your BT Cloud Phone Portal.


Step 2:

Go to Tools > Cloud Phone apps > Desktop apps.

NOTE: If you are logged in as an Administrator, you would need to click on My extension before clicking on Tools > Desktop apps.

Step 3:

Click Download for PC.

Step 4:

Save the installer file to your computer.


Step 5:

Launch the downloaded file, then click Run to proceed with the installation.


Step 6:

You may now log in to the BT Cloud Phone Desktop App.
