Details

Passwords and Security Questions on your online account maintain your account's confidentiality and privacy.

The steps below shows how Users and Administrators can change the Password, PIN or Security Question and Answer.  

Users  
Administrator  

NOTE: If you are no longer able to log in and need to reset your password, go to Reset Your BT Cloud Phone Password.
 

Users

1. Click Settings > User details.
2. Click General, and then click Change password under Password.

The Password window will open, continue to Changing the password, PIN and Security question.

 

Administrators

1. On the Admin Portal page, click Users > User list > Users with extensions.
2. Select the name of the User that you want to view.
3. Click User details.
4. Click General, and then click Change password under Password.

The Password window will open, continue to Changing the password, PIN and Security question.

 

Changing the password, PIN and Security question

Enter your Current password or Current admin password (if you are an Administrator) in order to change any of the settings below.

Change Security question 

Change password

Enter the new password in the New password and Confirm password fields, and then click Save. To help secure the Password and make it less vulnerable to unauthorised access, follow the password criteria that will be shown as you type.

Change PIN

Enter the new PIN in the New PIN and in the Confirm PIN fields, and then click Save. The PIN is used to verify your identity when checking voicemail from a phone. Follow the PIN criteria that will be shown as you type. 

Change Security question  

Click on the drop-down list to select the Security question and fill in the Answer field. Click Save when done.

The Security Question is used to reset your password or to identify your account when contacting Customer Services. Security answer should be five (5) or more characters long and not case-sensitive.
