BT Cloud Phone's Intercom feature allows Users to speak into a microphone to be heard on a speaker by other BT Cloud Phone Users in a different location. This article demonstrates how the following actions can be done:
Users: Configuring your Intercom settings
Administrators: Configuring another User's Intercom setting
Configuring your Intercom settings (User)
1. Log in as a User to your BT Cloud Phone Portal.
2. Click Settings > Phones & numbers.
3. Select Phones and click Intercom.
4. Set Phone permitted to accept intercom calls: to On.
5. Under the Phone tab, search for the phone that will be set to accept Intercom calls on your extension.
6. Click the Users tab. You will see a list of Users. Select by ticking the checkboxes of the Users that will be permitted to make intercom calls to you.
7. Click Save.
Configuring another User's Intercom settings (Administrator)
1. Log in as an Administrator to your BT Cloud Phone Portal.
2. Click Users > User list > Users with extensions.
3. Click the name of the User whose settings need to be changed.
4. Click Phones & numbers > Phones > Intercom.
5. Set Phone permitted to accept intercom calls: to On.
6. Under the Phone tab, search for the phone that will be set to accept Intercom calls on this extension.
7. Click the Users tab.
8. You will see a list of Users. Select by ticking the checkboxes of the Users that will be permitted to make intercom calls to you.
9. Click Save.
