Update a User's Emergency Address on the BT Cloud Work Portal

Each BT Cloud Work number is registered to a specific address that will be seen by the emergency services when you make a 999 or a 112 call. Updating the Emergency Address helps avoid delays if you ever need to use a device to call 999 or 112.

Users with assigned phones or Desktop app who have not set the Emergency Address will be prompted to do so for their BT Cloud Work devices when they log in to the BT Cloud Work Portal.

Updating your Emergency address

1. Log in to your BT Cloud Work Portal.
2. Click Settings > Phones & numbers.
3. Click the Phones tab.
4. Look for the device that needs to be updated. Click Edit.
5. Under Emergency Address, click Edit address.
6. Double check and update the information. Tick the checkbox to confirm you have understood and accept the information. 
7. Click I Accept.
8. Click Save.

Updating the Administrator's Emergency address

1. Log in to your BT Cloud Work Portal
2. Go to My Extension to change their Emergency address.
3. Click Settings > Phones & numbers.
4. Click the Phones tab.
5. Look for the device that needs to be updated. Click Edit.
6. Under Emergency Address, click Edit address.
7. Double check and update the information. Tick the checkbox to confirm you have understood and accept the information. 
8. Click I Accept.
9. Click Save.
    

Updating the Emergency address for a User

1. Log in to your BT Cloud Work Portal
2. On the Admin portal, go to Users > User list > Users with extensions tab.
3. Click the name of the User and click Settings > Phones & numbers.
4. Click the Phones tab.
5. Look for the device that needs to be updated. Click Edit.
6. Under Emergency Address, click Edit address.
7. Double check and update the information. Tick the checkbox to confirm you have understood and accept the information. 
8. Click I Accept.
9. Click Save.
