Activate a Newly Created Call Queue

  1. Log in to the BT Cloud Phone Portal.
  2. On the Admin portal, go to Phone system > Groups Call queues.
  3. Click the Kebab icon (3 dots) under Actions, then click Resend invitation.
  4. Go to the Call Queue manager's email address and open the welcome email and click the link to begin setup.
  5. Create a password for the Call Queue group following the listed criteria, and then click Continue. The password is used to log in to the Call Queue Extension in the online account. Follow the password criteria below:
    • At least one letter (Latin character)
    • At least one number (0-9)
    • Non-sequential, Non-repeating
    • No account information
    • One uppercase letter or special character (!,@,$,#)
    • Length 8-32 characters
  6. Create a PIN for the Call Queue group following the listed criteria, and then click Continue. The PIN is used to check your voicemail messages over the phone. Follow the PIN criteria below:
    • Only digits
    • Non-repeating
    • Non-sequential
    • No account information
    • Length 6-10 digits
  7. Set a security question and answer for the Call Queue group, and then click Continue. The security question and answer is used to identify your account when contacting customer service.
     

Activate a Disabled Call Queue

  1. Log in to the BT Cloud Phone Portal.
  2. On the Admin portal, go to Phone system > Groups Call queues.
  3. Click the Kebab icon (3 dots) under Actions, then click Enable.
