Delete a Hot Desk Line and Reassign to Extension on the BT Cloud Work Portal

NOTE: Sales cannot delete a hot desk line.

  1. Log in as administrator using agent access. Go to the BT Cloud Work Admin Web, then search user and click Login to Account.
  2. Go to Admin portal > Phone system > Phones & devices > Common area phones tab.
  3. Click the hot desk phone to be deleted.
  4. Click Remove Line, then click Next.

NOTE: Alert window will popup. Please follow the instruction indicated, then you may proceed to Step 5.

  1. Go to Admin portal > Phone system > Phones & devices > Unassigned tab.
  2. Look for the number that needs to be assigned to an extension. Under the Operation column, click Assign To.
  3. Select the extension from the list, then click Save.
  4. Enter the Emergency Address.
  5. Tick the checkbox to acknowledge that you understand BT Cloud Work's Emergency Calling Services.
  6. Click I Accept.
