The No Timeout feature prevents all Hot Desk sessions in an account from timing out. The Users' sessions stay on until it is physically logged out. It offers a solution for organisations that have a mobile workforce and unpredictable schedules. 

Availability

This feature is available to BT Cloud Work Connect and Collaborate accounts.

Supported Desk Phones

  • Polycom VVX 310, 311, 410, 410, 411, 500, 501, 601
  • Polycom VVX 410, 500, 501, 601 with one expansion module
  • Cisco 7841 Gigabit Business Phone
  • Cisco 8861 Gigabit Color Business Phone (up to 2 expansion modules)
  • Yealink T42S Gigabit Business Phone
  • Yealink T46S Gigabit Color Business Phone (up to 2 expansion modules)

Enabling Hot Desk session timeout on the BT Cloud Phone Portal

  1. Log in to the BT Cloud Phone portal.
  2. Hover on Tools, then click Hot Desk Session Timeout under Account Settings.
  3. Click the drop-down box, then select Never.
  4. Click Save.
