Audio Conferencing Touch Tone Commands on the BT Cloud Work

Details

For the Audio Conferencing feature, the host and participants have the same conference bridge number to dial in, but their call control depends on the access code that they use.

 

Host

The Host has the full call control and can access the following touch tone commands:

Keep track of how many people are on the conference call
Leave Conference

Lets the Host hang up and end the call. Participants will remain in the conference after the Host leaves.

Listening Modes

There are 3 different listening modes for the Participants

The default mode is Open Conversation, wherein all Participants can listen and speak at the same time.

Press *#5 once to Mute all the Participants. Participants can unmute themselves by pressing *#6.

Press *#5 for the second time to put all the Participants on mute. Participants will not have the ability to unmute themselves.

Press *#5 for the third time to return to Open Conversation mode.

NOTE: You must wait for the system to acknowledge the command before attempting to re-enter the same command the second or third time. 
Mute
*#6
Press *#6 once to place your line on mute.

Press *#6 again to unmute your line.
Security
*#7
Press *#7 once to secure the conference and block all other callers from joining the conference

Press *#7 again to reopen the conference to all callers
Tone Control
*#8
The default setting is Entry and Exit tones ON, wherein a tone is played when people enter or exit the conference.

Press *#8 once to set Entry and Exit tones OFF

Press *#8 for the second time to set the Entry tone ON, Exit tone OFF

Press *#8 for the third time to set the Entry tone OFF, Exit tone ON

Press *#8 for the fourth time to set the conference back in default mode, with both Entry and Exit tones turned ON
Sub-Conference
*#9
Press *#9 once to join a sub-conference. The sub-conference line is from 1 to 4

You can press ## to leave the sub-conference and return to the Main Conference line.
Record your Conference

Press *9 to START recording the conference call using your BT Cloud Deskphone, BT Cloud Work Desktop App or BT Cloud Work Mobile App.

Press *9 the second time to STOP recording the conference call using your BT Cloud Deskphone, BT Cloud Work Desktop App or BT Cloud Work Mobile App.

NOTE: Recorded calls can be viewed in the Recordings section under the Messages Tab of your BT Cloud Work Portal. See Record On-Demand Calls for more info.
 
 

Participants 

Participants, on the other hand, have limited control of the touch tone commands:
