When a BT Cloud Work User sends a fax using email, the system checks the email address of the sender and only sends the fax if it is on the approved list. In order to use this feature, Account Administrators and Users must add email addresses to the Trusted email addresses List. Up to 25 email addresses can be added to each User's list.

Administrators: Add email addresses permitted to send a fax for a User

  1. Log in to the BT Cloud Work Portal as the Administrator.
  2. Go to Users > User list > Users with extension, then select the user.
  3. Click the Outbound calls/faxes tab.
  4. Click Fax settings.
  5. Scroll down the page and look for the Faxes sent via email section. 
  6. Enter the email address in the box provided, then click Add.
  7. Enter 1 email address at a time. Up to 25 email addresses can be added to each User's list.
  8. Click Save.

Users: Add email addresses permitted to send a fax on your extension

BT Cloud Work Extension Users can only view and configure their own Fax settings.

  1. Log in to your BT Cloud Work Portal.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click Outbound calls/faxes
  4. Click Fax settings.
  5. Scroll down the page and look for the Faxes sent via email section.
  6. Enter 1 email address at a time. Up to 25 email addresses can be added to each User's list. 
  7. Click Add.
  8. Click Save.
