How to install the BT Cloud Phone Desktop App on Mac
The BT Cloud Phone Desktop App is a free downloadable software application, which can be used to make and receive calls, send faxes and even retrieve voice and fax messages. The BT Cloud Phone Desktop App is compatible with Microsoft Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10; and Mac OS X 10.8 & above. The BT Cloud Phone Desktop App can be downloaded on multiple computers for free.
NOTE: In order for the BT Cloud Phone Desktop App to work properly, your computer has to meet at least the Minimum Requirements.

Step 1:
Log in to your BT Cloud Phone Portal.
Step 2:
Go to Tools > Cloud Phone apps > Desktop apps.

NOTE: If you are logged in as an Administrator, you would need to click on My extension before clicking on Tools > Desktop apps.

Step 3:
Click Download for Mac.

Step 4:
Save the installer file to your Mac.
Step 5:
Run the installation file.
Step 6:
Click Agree after reading the BT Applications Software Licence Agreement.
Step 7:
Drag the BT Cloud Phone icon to the Applications to begin the installation.
NOTE: If you do not have Admin Rights on your Mac computer, click Authenticate, then enter the Administrator username and password. In most cases, you need to ask an IT Staff or your Systems Administrator to perform this step.
Step 8:
You may now log in to the BT Cloud Phone Desktop App.
