1. Which Licences allow you to host BT Cloud Phone Meetings?


BT Cloud Phone Meetings works with Connect and Collaborate licences. However, the maximum number of participants will vary depending on your subscription.

2. How long can a meeting last?


A meeting bridge can last up to 24 hours. If a longer meeting is required, when the meeting bridge drops, participants and hosts will have to dial into the meeting again.

NOTE: Some VoIPPSTN and Mobile carriers may have shorter call length limits that could terminate your connection. You may need to check with your provider about your calling restrictions.


3. Can I call into a video meeting using a telephone line?


You can join by dialling the Conference Code and the Participants Code, but you will only be able to hear the audio of the meeting.   


4. Can I start or join a video meeting from any country?


Yes, you can start or join a  BT Cloud Phone video meeting from any country.

NOTE: BT Cloud Phone Meetings is only available in English. There is no option to change the language menus.


5. Do I need to have a webcam to join BT Cloud Phone Meetings?


You don't have to have a webcam to join a BT Cloud Phone Meeting. You will not be able to transmit video but you will be able to listen to the call and view any screen sharing.


6. Is there a full-screen option when screen-sharing?


Yes. There are two (2) display modes - video layout and screen sharing layout.
  • In the Video Layout, it is optimised for video viewing and desktop viewing. To go full-screen, double-click on the screen.
  • In the Screen Sharing Layout, it is automatically switched to full-screen to optimise the document or presentation view. To exit full-screen, double-click the screen or hit Esc.


7. Can I just share one window instead of the whole desktop?


BT Cloud Phone Meetings allow you to share your desktop, a specific browser or an application window. BT Cloud Phone Meetings will list all the active windows. You can opt to view minimised windows by clicking on Show all windows.


8. Do web browser settings allow you to run signed applications?


If you encounter an error when attempting to launch BT Cloud Phone Meetings, your web browser settings may have been configured to not run signed applications. Contact your company IT or administrator to have this enabled.
